    i have riivoultuion and i dont know how to replace the sfx for marth and im also trying to find a sora sfx to put instead of marth

    well there isnt a SFX pack for sora yet. at least none that i know. and you need a Smashbros_sound.brsar file in order to edit it and change it's sounds.

    well it depends. you can use a program called HxD (A hex editor) or you can use Jaklub's new Swandz .11 (This version is pretty easy to use)

    there are some tutorials that explain how to use this. but tell me what your using and ill see if i can help.

    Ok im using smashbox v0.57 and a cloud sfx for donkey kong i heard you can use it with smashbox

    ok well you need the newest Swandz, the group ID and the Collection ID,

    The Group ID is D
    The Collection is 1F4 for the voices, and A3 for the sound effects.

    Now for Smashbox. you have to open up you brsar file with it. go to groups and Since your messing with DKs click there.

    Now here's where you have to decide weather your changing the voices or the sound effects. if the voices you click on the one that has 1F4, if for the sound effects click the A3 one.

    from there click on the one that says Waves, all of these wave numbers are you wave ID numbers that you insert to Swandz. and you should be able to preview the waves using smashbox too.


    So once you find the one you wanted to replace you open Swandz (Dont forget to put you Smashbros_sound.brsar in the same folder as you Swandz folder) and you'll see at the top where it says .wav insertion. from there you put the Group ID which for DK will be D. and for the Collection ID (depending on if you want to change the voices or the sound effects) you put the 1F4 or A3. then whatever wave file you want to replace you put that number in the Wave ID box. Like say you wanted to change the first wave file. so you would put in the wave ID box 1 to change the first wave.

    and that's about it i think. i hope that helps.

    is the group id always d? or is it just for dk if its always for dk what is the group id for everyone?

    well D is only for DK, as for everyone else. you can find there Group ID and Collection ID from the notepad called BrawlBox that comes with the newest Swandz. 11

    can i use the cloud sfx for olimar because i have cloud over olimar and i looked at it again and the sfx is for falco Tongue it says the group is incorrect

    well it's a bit challenging when your using another SFX for another character. you have to get the original Wave files and the you must insert them all for Olimar's sounds. then not only that, you'll have to change them through their pac file. the one that contains the moveset. it's alot of work. and im not too sure how to exactly do that yet. Because im trying to mess with DK's sounds because im making a new Shadow voice pak but im not sure how to mess with the PSA part of editing sounds.
