freezing issues

ok i used the tutorial for noobs and followed it to the letter and i STILL have my wii freezing either after 1 fight or as soon as i go to select a stage WHAT am i doing wrong
i feel very stupid that i cant get this too work even after using  a in depth guide

be more specific so people can know what you are doing wrong. What method are you using, what files, where did you put them, do you prefer tacos over pizza and other stuff that might help

gecko method launched from the homebrew thing
it seems to only freeze on the stage select screen if it site there for more then 2 seconds if u random stage or mash + after u pick a char it works but thats annoying
and i put things in the way the tutoral for noobs says making the private /wii/etc folders
i did not add anything new besides a few characters
and i didnt alter the css or anything

That's weird then. Only if you take some time in the SSS. I have no idea what could cause this. Sorry, hope someone else knows.
