OMG REVOLUTION Y U NO...

After 6 months of research and learning stuff for this...i still suck at hacking brawl.

However i achieved the following:

Installed HBC (Difficulty: )
Installed Gecko (Difficulty )

Tried to get Gecko to Hack Brawl (FAILED)

said F***k this Installed Riivolution (difficulty: )

Completed Learning and Installed textures for Characters (Difficulty: )

Completed Learning and Installed Custom BGM (Difficulty: )

Installed Stages (Not completed Learning)  (Difficulty )

Hacked All Songs (Difficulty )

what i did not achieve is and still have problems with:

Hacked All stages (65% Completed)

Imported PSA's (2% Completed)

Hacked All Characters (75% Completed,due to not getting PSA's to work)

things i have learned:

CSS editing

Strap Editing

Brstm Editing

Things i have came to as conclusion:

Im retarted when it comes to PSA's.. i put the PSA's in the fighter folder (.PAC's) along with fitmotions for the 1st time Result= When character fights on screen..insta freeze.

2nd method, i put the fitmotion files in moveset folder. Retried,they did not freeze,however they do not work.

Ichigo (Metalknight), Naruto (Game and watch), and Mewtwo (lucario) just stand there with T formats. However my Goku (captain Falcon) is playable,but still broke. any B button activites turns him into T formation untill hit by another player. Final smash is a Giant T formation,with a flash of light..then 3 seconds later, everyone dies LOL....so what the [censored] im doing wrong here? someone please tell me my idiotic mistake that haunts me v_v

another Problem is the current stages:

Pitchochat,New Pork City, Port town Areo Drive, and WarioWare.

ive concludes so far....THESE STAGES ARE UNHACKABLE!!!!!!!!!

1st of all my wii disc tray is retarded..i have to open and exit riivolution channel 10-80 times just to get it to read smash bros. so when i do finally get it to work im like YES!!!...Then i click one of these stages and rage face everything v_v

Pitchchat,Port Town and WareWare, no matter what stage i put these bastards on...INSTA FREEZE!

i have a feeling i know my mistake...or not...idk......(Yes..i add the .rel files for the hacked stage i want)

in my module folder, i have every .rel file for everystage...hacked or not...theres a rel file for it..not sure if  that contributes to anything...but another thing for New Pork CIty..no matter what stage i choose for it...its just a dark mess of New Pork original..all i see is 3 things...the pendulum platform thingy..the breakaway platform..and that Pink little Nightmare..everything else is dark. serious annoying problem.

and finally the dumbest thing i could ever ask anyone here...

i just learned how to hack images and stuff in Common 5.pac, i even made my own epic stage icons and CSS for characters..my dumb question is...WHERE DO I PUT COMMON 5!??? for gecko its private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/system.....BUT I NO USE GECKO!! ive searched everywhere  and connot find any results. i keep getting gecko results when i...use...riivolution.

someone please tell me where to put common 3 and 5 in riivolution and someone yell some sense into meh about PSA's...cuz i fail everytime...and does anyone has a clue why these stages are unhackable?

Well... *cough* I don't know how the heck I could've read all this text but... *cough* I... I mean... hum. For using Riivolution, if you are PAL, I think you need the SSBB Template made by Michi (can't find the link yet) or if you are NTSC-US, try using Beyonds Riivolution (dunno where is it too...) then you can use the same folders as GeckoOS without annoyingly change your folders

PSA/Characters textures :
SD Card\private\Wii\App\RSBP or RSBE (your region)\pf\Fighter\Character's Name\"your file is here"

Stages
SD Card\private\Wii\App\RSBP or RSBE (your region)\pf\Stage\Melee\Stage's Name\"your file is here"

Actually, I have the same problem for Pictochat and WarioWare, but Port Town was really easy to hack (even though if it was only texture hack)

Common things (like Common.pac for Zelda and Samus and ZSS PSAs, Common2... I don't know, Common3 is for items, Common4 is for Bowser, and Gigabowser PSA, Common5... you know it)
SD Card\private\Wii\App\RSBP or RSBE (your region)\pf\System\"your file is here"

.rel is needed only to switch stages as I get it (I don't use them) but if you want a better help about it, check out WackaAlpaca's Youtube Channel right here -->

alright..let meh get this straight if i install "BeyondYous's Riivolution" (Which i just found) i can set up folders like the way i wanted gecko?

Exactly, the only difference is that you have to put the sc_selcharcter and sc_selmap in a common5.pac, or it will not work (if you hacked it).

so when i get my wii back..i will load up riivolution..and when i finally get the disc tray to work..instead of going with the original Brawlmodluncher..wut do i do then? as we speak i have put all my mods BACK into Original Gecko Position (Private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/blah blah blah) that...wait a minute...so Fitmotion files do not go in moveset..they go with fighter?

Exactly, they go with their characters, for example :
Link, folder Link --> FitLink.pac FitLink00.pac etc... FitLinkMotionEtc.pac

That's what you need to do with the BeyondRiivolution.xml

Replace the Regular Riivolution folder with Beyonds riivolution

put everything back into Gecko Format.

Put Fitmotions with the fighters.

And .rels in modules..which reminds me..is there even a module folder for regular riivolution? cuz thats where i originally put all my .rels

No you didn't missed anything.

For .rels... I don't really know what to say cuz I use Michi's SSBB Template for PAL

Common3 doesn't work but I don't care... and Common5, that's correct
