I seem to have a problem with my hacks in the "pf/fighter" folder. The characters aren't being replaced at all about half the time. What is really confusing me is that everything else such as my custom css, my .rels, and the common#.pac files (common3, common4, and common5). Note that the hacks sometimes completely load and everything is how I want it but other times everything except for the PSA and texture hacks load. It seems to me that this only started happening after I used the gecko codes for the custom css (custom css v3, giga and company, independent pokemon engine, custom random). Does anyone know why this is happening and if I can fix it? Sorry if this topic has been discussed; I'm new to the brawl vault forums.

I'm assuming that you're not using cBliss then?

My first guess is you're having the same problem as this guy did:

This is my problem:
I start brawl the first time and all the hacks seem to load fine (css, stages). But my character hacks in pf/fighter don't load. For example Link is normal Link.

I restart brawl and now everything is working including my texture hacks and psas. For example Link is now Zero.

His problem seems to be the fact that some files aren't even used in vBrawl such as fitmario01.pac.

It seems like this started after I  put in all my gecko custom css codes.

Yeah, some files aren't used. Fitmario01 is a good example.

FitXX01, FitXX02, and FitXX03 are used for the team battle mode, where 01 is Red, etc. Since some of the characters main colors are Red, Blue, or Green, Brawl is coded to use FitXX00 instead of 01, 02, or 03 if that makes sense.

So for the Mario example... Since Mario's initial clothes are already red, when selecting to be Mario on the Red Team, instead of using FitMario01 Brawl is coded to use FitMario00.

If you install cBliss, you'll be able to use whatever hacks you put under these skipped files.
