I have some character textures implemented for Bowser.
I know they're named correctly (FitKoopa##.pcs & FitKoopa##.pac respectively), as they show up just fine.

However, when I get a Final Smash, it doesn't work.
It looks like Bowser is going to transform, but then he suddenly doesn't.

Also, I downloaded a texture for Giga Bowser, but it was just a PAC file.
There wasn't any PCS file to go with it. I'm not sure if that's right or not, due to the above problem.
My gkoopa folder is empty, except for that PAC file which I named FitGkoopa04.pac

Is there something I forgot to do (or did wrong?)?

I think Giga Bowser needs both the .pcs and the .pac to work.

What, copy the same PCS and PAC from the koopa folder over to the gkoopa folder?
    I'll give that a try.

    EDIT: No dice.

Giga Bowser only has one texture slot that's used by all 6 Bowser textures.  You need to name the Giga Bowser texture, FitGKoopa00, or else it will not work.

Also, you only need Giga Bowser's PAC file when doing the transformation.  Unless you're using a code that will let you start a match as Giga Bowser, the PCS file is useless.

On a side note, Wario has a similar scenario when becoming Wario-Man.  All 12 of Wario's textures uses one specific Wario-Man texture (FitWarioMan00).

I tried renaming the FitGkoopa##.pac file as you said.
    Still didn't work.
Next, I removed the file (rendering the gkoopa folder empty.) and tried again.
    Still doesn't work.

The only thing I can think of is that there's something wrong with the .PAC files I'm using for each .PCS one in the koopa folder.

As a side note, I'm also having similar trouble with Samus. Her Final Smashes will work just fine, but she won't actually switch from Samus to Zero Suit Samus (or vice versa). The taunt trick doesn't work either. It'll activate, but she won't change. You can still start as either one though.

Wario works just fine. So does Zelda/Sheik.

Nevermind, the problem was due to one/some of the codes I had been using.
I'll just add each code one at a time until I learn which one was causing the problem.

    My thanks for trying though.
