Lucas' Pants?

I'm trying to make a young Scott Pilgrim outfit for Lucas, based on an outfit he wears in one of the comics. But I can't get his pants, socks and shoes to stay colored when I load it into Brawl+!

What am I doing wrong?

Are you keeping the format the same when importing the texture?
(ex. CMPR format)

The only noticeable difference is that the original has 3433 colors and the replacement has 3513. Is that an issue? If so, how can I fix it?

are you possitive that youre not only saving the texture as a PNG file and not a photoshop file; but also making sure its saved in the brawl box? does it show in brawl box when you preview the model?

This. Maybe it's something to do with the way lucas was made, like Sonic can't turn white without hexing. Because when you put white sonics in Brawlbox, they come up white, but in game they are pink. So I think this is the issue.
