Csp's cause the game to crash! Help plz!!!

So i followed the steps, opened the common5.pac with brawlbox and replaced it with pictures that were made to be used as csp's. Some were from the naruto con dl, and others from the csp pack 1 dl. When i try to get to the selection screen to pick my character the game freezes. Does anyone know what is causing this, cus I can't play anymore until i fix it. Please help!!!
1 ) Open up Brawlbox
2) Press Ctrl O (Open)
3) Choose the common5.pac file in your SD card (or if you have an sc.character.pac file choose that instead)
4) Expand the sc.character_en in the common5.pac (you DO NOT NEED this step if you have an sc.character.pac file already)
5) Expand the char_bust_tex_lz77 file.
6) Each of the MiscData[X] files corresponds with a character, when you choose one you will see a Palettes and a Textures file.
7) Expand the TEXTURES file.
You will see 5 or 6 picture files. Choose the picture you want to replace, right-click and press "Replace"
9) Choose one of the CSPs from my pack
10) Voila!!

Are you using the standard Gecko OS method, or are you using Riivolution?

No i didnt make them myself, I downloaded them in from brawlvault
and yes I am using Gecko OS, why is that a problem?

It may be.  It could be the the CSP's you're using could be making your common5.pac too big and as a result, the game crashes.

Try taking out the sc_character_en.pac and using that instead of the common5.pac.

Also, are you using a custom CSS background or just the standard Brawl one?

Im using the standard one, and the sc_character.pac would be the one u find when u expand the common5.pac right?
If i were to only use the sc_character.pac would i put that in system folder, and then delete the common5.pac?

Yes, it's just the one that you get from expanding the common5.pac, however, you put the sc_character_en.pac in the pf/menu2 folder, not the system folder.

See if that works, and if it doesn't, let me know.  Also, please tell me exactly how big your common5 and sc_character_en files are.  That way, I can tell if either of them is too large.
