I've been using Riivolution and have a PAL Disk.

I've been trying to put a Battlefield-based stage over Mario Circuit. I've downloaded PAL rels, then edited them correctly using the stage switcher program. However, when I go to stages and select mario circuit, it seems to be loading, then freezes. I've triple-checked everything and all the files are in the correct places and named correctly.
It also does the same thing when I try to put the normal battlefield stage over mario circuit rather than a custom one.

Note: I've tried this with Corneria as well, but the same thing happened.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong??

I'm certainly no expert, but the only thing I might consider would be using a hex editor (HxD for example) and manually making sure the .rel files are edited correctly as per:

is stage switcher supposed to work with PAL too? I don't see a reason why not, but then again my knowledge is pretty limited :x

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I tried using a hex editior already, but got the same result. I have in fact been using the exact same page you linked.  Sad
