Smash Ball freeze

I imported Golurk from pokepark 2 into brawl and right when he gets a smash ball the game freezes. Any reason as to why he would freeze when he gets the smash ball rather than when he actually uses it?

It could be that your model may not have the final eyes set up (the yellow eyes) see if that model has EyeYellowN somewhere on the bone list if not, then the problem could be something else which I unfortunately do no know.
