Hey people Smiley.
Please excuse me, but this is my first time on this forum. I recently got into hacking Brawl, and it's very fun. One thing that's been making me wonder is that in some videos I've seen on Youtube, on the character select screen, there are extra slots for other characters, like for example, there are slots for characters who are not even playable or weren't even put in the game, such as Shadow, Cloud Strife, Masterchief, etc. How exactly can I add more character slots to the game without having to replace the regular Brawl characters? And, is there a step by step tutorial on how to do it? Again, please forgive me for this stupid question, this is my first time on this forum so I'm not really sure how to do this. Thanks for replying guys Smiley

At the moment you don't.  The Clone Engine (i.e. the ability to add new character slots) is something that the best modders have been looking into since the early days of Brawl modding.  Over time they've been edging closer and closer, but they aren't quite there yet.

These videos you're watching don't have any extra slots.  The number of characters is always the same as Brawl's cast.  Unless you're talking about splitting characters like Sheik/Zelda or Pokemon Trainer Pokemon or even the Alloys, Giga Bowser and Warioman.  But that's a completely different case.
