Snake?

I'm trying to do a Snake texture and everything has worked so far but this one thing.  On the back of snakes right leg where he has the 3 straps, whenever I texture that part it doesn't show when i preview it in brawlbox,  the straps are still there.  Anyone wanna help me with that?

Ok, this is what I could gather:
this is my texture with little colored dots and squiggles so i could see where it translates on the model.  as you can see i have circle color codes to see where it translates.


the only problem is that you're not having this problem right?  :P

The problem I'm having is the texture I put for the vertical strap above the purple block doesn't show.  I was trying to make it as the the strap doesn't exist and its just his spandex there or whatever it is but instead the strap's texture stays there when I preview it for some odd reason.

You have to vertex hack it away i believe, it's part of his bones. Not entirely sure but i think that's your problem.

(I think what you may be looking for is either "Hip straps" or "Thigh Strap")
