Peach Turnip modifications?

Hey guys I keep trying to change the faces on the turnips and now the model, but everytime I go into the game, I still have the same old turnips..... I'm modifying itemcommonbrres and injecting it into the item folder.... is there something I'm missing? And while I'm at it, how could I go about modifying the chances for an item/stitch face pull?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, exactly. I am using dolphin emulator to test my mods before I put them on the Wii, and I am using Brawlbox v0.71 to edit the textures (well photoshop to edit, brawl to replace)

I THINK he means Gecko/Riivolution or Wii Scrubber/SD Card.
