    Is there a way to import a .mesh file into 3ds max?

    if the *.mesh file in question is from XnaLara, then that program has a built in exporter function.

    also when I was learning scripting, I was practicing on Dusan's mesh format.

    Actually, its from an online game called Roblox. :/

    hm, i cant make out the file structure.. usually online games are easy.

    there seems to be 3sets of data
    the first set is usually vertices, but when imported look like UV's instead. which isn't uncommon. yet I'm not able to locate the verts. for sure the last sets could have connection to the faces.

    files don't appear to be compressed or encrypted.

    also try 3dvia on the game, maybe you can take a 3d snapshot.
