is it illegal, doubt it. If it is who cares, im still doing it. Nintendo wont take action.  XD I think nintendo should see what we do....so they'll know what we want and thus they could sell more games....^^ But it's just my opinion....(I know it is kinda stupid) |

Exactly, they just have used more time and had better resources. 10 years game college = 1 year hack college |

THis is legal were editing stuff not selling.
Why does nintendo hate hackers hacks is what makes ssbb so awesome ultimant customaazation thus MUGEN 2.

It's definitely illegal to distribute hacks for money, but I'm not sure about what we do here. In any case, there's no way you'd get sent to jail for distributing intellectual property. Just sued/fined (not that that'll happen either).

Buying the game to play it != buying a license to modify its content.
It's illegal, don't kid yourselves with your childish naïveté. Fortunately for us, it probably makes Nintendo more money, so they leave us alone.
Action Replay and its ilk work by modifying RAM, not by directly altering proprietary files like we do.
