Wave, honestly, there's a limit to what you can consider plagiarism, and to what extend someone can complain about people inspiring themselves from their own hacks.
With that logic, people shouldn't complain about others using or borrowing things from other's hacks without permission, since we don't have a legal "copyright" on it.
It's something about Creation, not about copyrights. Unless you've really put an important amount of effort into finding that name (which would be really worrying me, honestly), I don't really think it can compare to the actual issues that lead KCMM to put these "plagiarism" rules into effect.
You seriously need to calm down a bit about your own creations, Wave. While I do agree creators have a right to get credit or their opinion about what people make of their work, there's
a way of telling it.
It's not like it's difficult to ask Nuke politely if he minds changing it, and maybe concede a freakin'
name if he really wants to use it.
I don't think being affilitated to a hack is going to kill you. It's not a Nazi Samus Onslaught PSA, is it ?
Discussion was probably over, but let me tell you that if you keep starting arguments about such little things, some day an admin/mod is really going to get pissed of this anti-friendly attitude you're showing on the boards and you'll lose a chance to keep participating in a nice community. And the community will lose a great hacker and person.
So before that happens, I really suggest you to focus your strictness on more important things. Really Wave, because this is completely ruining your image.
And if you really have anything to say about that, then contact me in private. This post was a call to all other hackers trying to imitate the same kind of attitude anyway.
PS : And I do agree that there are better names for it than Onslaught. Not because it's Wave's work, but just for variety's sake. There's enough adjectives to rattach it to the Metroid Universe. So Prime gets my vote.
