Gecko not working

I had a few of my hacks working for a while but then gecko just stopped working.
It doesn't search for codes even though the option is on, the codes are correct and in the codes folder and I have tried both the rsbp01 cheat file and the folder inside /private/wii/app/ called rsbp, and the rsbe01 cheat file with the hacks folder inside /private/wii/app called rsbe.
And yes I have used the correct file replacement cheat on both my rsbp try and my rsbe try.

Do you have the Japanese version maybe? They should be name RSBJ01 and RSBJ.

I have the pal version(rsbp) and have gecko 1.9.3.1
