    I'm trying to edit my game's items but I have no idea where this "Common3" is... Can someone explain this to me?

    it goes in a folder called "system" in your pf folder Smiley

    Yes it's the same folder as common5.pac.....
    the only problem could be that you downloaded the wrong common3.pac, but I don't think is that.... =/
