CUPASH Help

Okay, I CAN NOT use CUPASH. Unless I get help, I'm not using it.

Okay. Here's a problem. I downloaded one of the mirrors from Meowmix. I put everything in the folder. I even found all the small battle portraits from someone somewhere. I run step1_extract. When it's extracting, it'll say "Opening 002\000.bin." Then Windows will say that "lz77ex.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I have NO clue what is going on. I REALLY need some help w/ character portraits.

What's in the "neededfiles" folder:
common5_en.pac
All the small battle portraits (in-game ones)
sc_selcharacter_en.pac
usamode.BIN

I have texconv and ntcompress in the folder w/ step1 and step2.

And something else. It says "002\000.bin" is being used by another process. I don't know which process though.

you dont need sc_selcharacter_en.pac.

Are you need is
common5.pac
usamode.BIN
and all the InfFace***.brres

Ok. I got rid of the sc_selcharacter_en.
I still have the "lz77ex.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

download a fresh copy of CUPASH AND common5

Downloaded the CUPASH from the Noob guide and extracted a common5 from my iso. Still get the "lz77ex.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Should I upload a copy of my folder?

You need to put infface***.brres files into "neededfiles" not TGA battle portraits.

I do have all of the InfFaceXXX's in the "neededfiles" folder.

Ok. Smashbox v0.56 is nice to me since it allows me to insert the custom pics, but I put them in the right folder on the SD card and it froze when going to the character select. Any idea why?
