Character Selection Screen Help/problems.

I am trying to edit the sc_selcharacter.pac

I am trying to remove the titles/namecards above each characters selection icon.
I know Brawl - and some others have it done, and they didn't make them see through or anything.

I want to use those icons, but not have the names on the icons.
Could someone explain how to do that please?

You cant remove them or the game will freeze. If you want to make it blank or edit it you export the names edit (or cover it out) save that replace it and ur done

When looking through the sc_selcharacter.pac of some, they still have all the names intact but they don't show up in game. Is there some sort of file to edit that will mess with the layering or visibility?
Hmm, or is can they be made transparent if I can't figure out the above?
