I was trying to do my first vertex hack (removing mario's mustache).  But when I try to preview it in BrawlBox, I get this:

How would I go about fixing this?

NOTE-
I know the mustache hack has been done.  I was just testing it myself.

It depends on the method you used. Did you by chance use Anim8or?

When I used Blender, that same thing happened to me. I think the problem is either the Das Donkey Vertex Box that you have or you have a later version of Anim8or. Try downloading this DDVB: http://cid-c59ea3c98a300f31.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Programs/DasDonkey%20Box%20v1.0.zip

Then it's probably anim8or. I guess you'll just have to search the forums for an earlier version.

why can't you just import the 3DS right into blender??

all anim8or does is get it to obj format...
I use Quick 3D Pro for that (if I need it)

you have been through a lot of hassle. I've watched every topic you posted on this, and most of them seemed to disintegrate gradually.
But the coolest part was that you didn't stop working on it despite that.

someone told me it could convert to 3DS

    just a suggestion...

I guess I need to yell at some people to help me wth my mdl0 import/export script <_<
