Code Limit?

Okay so I've finally gotten used to basic hacking (texture, music, stage, menu, item, etc. replacement) and i've even familiarized myself with codes..... BUT I recently added some codes about 5 of them and then I was playing regular brawl when I loaded Gecko OS. I had 27 codes before and the game worked fine , but then after adding the new 5 codes, I started to play regular Brawl on Gecko . I was wondering, was this because there's a limit, or were my codes not for my region?

How do u use this?

Copy that and put it in a txt file at the front of your SD card. Change the ? to E (NTSC), P (PAL), or J (Japanese)
