Only if you're using an older version of the HBC. HBC versions that are compatible with Wii System Menu 4.3 will be unaffected.
Caution: The September 8 update updates IOS37, which renders the latest version of Riivolution (v1.03) useless. Gecko OS isn't affected though.

Just to let you know, Bannerbomb died. Smash Stack and Indiana Pwns are left. Look at "The Complete Noob's Guide to Brawl Hacking" thread ithas Smash Stack(recommended).
