OBJ has never worked really successfully yet, and if its not OBJ or mldo you're out of luck as of right now

What he said, make sure to open it up with notepad and press ctrl+h to get to the replace-options.

Oops, wrong step. Im having troble inporting into SZS. And also the part with exporting the model to OBJ twice.(?) Im using 3ds max 8 and it dose not have the same options for exporting as in the tutorial.

As for now, this method is the only one for importing .obj, But i think it does have some potential.
