Okay, so a few days ago I was over at my friend's house. Before I left, we were gonna play brawl. Well, the read only switch on my SD card came off, and the card was stcuk in read only mode. We tried to use it in the Wii, and only a few codes worked. We quit out of the game, shut off the wii, and I put the SD card in my computer. I checked everyting, and nothing was wrong. So we put it back in the wii and booted it up again. Thsi time NOTHING worked. No music, no textures, no stages, nothing. The only thing that's "working" is the extra icons on the CSS.

I backed up all my files from my SD card. I found an empty card and put all of the files that I backed up on there. Still nothing.

All of this happened when I tried to put that "Nude Final Breastination" stage on my SD card for a couple of laughs over at my buddy's. And YES I did take the stage off of my SD card.

Could someone PLEASE tell me what's going on?

A virus might have attached itself to the stage somehow... I'm not saying this is (or isn't) the stage creator's fault, and I'm not sure that's the case, but if it is, said malware is now on your SD card. Don't know what to do or if I'm anywhere near right. If I'm right, well...

I've scanned the files, there's no virus.

And yes, the lock did fall off, but I have a shiny new SD card here, and still nothing's working.

Does it HAVE to be the Wii band SD card?

Yeah there's a wii brand of SD card.

Also, my Wii has bulletproof coating. shoulda told you that.

Alright, I've done some more tests, and it's just the file patch code that isn't working. htis also explains the bizzare lengths of loading time whenever I try to use a hacked stage, character, or if the game is trying to play a hacked song.

Is there a newer version of the code? I'm using v3.5.1 right now.

AUGH! Alright, I've re-pasted the file patch code into my GCT, and I've tried again. STILL NOTHING. This is beginning to aggrivate me, especially because it may mean the end of my hacking career.

right click properties should be FAT or FAT32, and also you might want to try defragmenting. Right click properties tools Defrag in winXP
as for gecko, do you have 1.9.3? or whatever the latest is?

Ah. I have 1.9.1 I believe. I'll look into getting the most recent version.

I'll also try the other suggestions.
