I need vertex help!!!

i follow the guide STEP BY STEP....but no matter what my toon link shield looks likee a blob when i import it to the model!!! what am i doing wrong?oh, and by blob i mean bent like a bed, AND Shrank... please help!!!

What method are you using MK or DasDonkey?

If your using Mariokarts method, when editing stuff like swords or shields; morph the polygon into the vertex set before making your edits and not after. And then just export when you're done.
