I need help for resizing a model

Hi,
I'm trying to import an axe from monster hunter tri (the first one, axe001) in brawl.
I have the "Fortwaffles Model Importing Pack" and the step1 worked perfectly but the axe is very, very big.
I used the step2 but there was a black window and anything happened (I named it "input.brres" and edited "scale.txt" before use mdl0resizer). When I opened the axe in brawlbox, Some elements of the .mdl0 had moved but it wasn't resizing.
I need help to resize my axe !

Another question, can I make a taller Link with mdl0resizer ?

Negative resizing ALWAYS causes problems for me. I have no idea why.

There may be a way to manually enter values in brawlbox, and make all the models bones and whatnot smaller, but not sure
