I see no point why you'd want to remove your SD card during the game Im srs here

I think so that you can put on more/different hacks without having to completely reboot your wii. It will actually be VERY helpful (^_^)

You can replace or update hacks without restarting Brawl by removing the SD card.  Of course, this only works with Gecko OS.

However, files inside the info2 and system folders can't be updated this way; you have no choice but to reboot Brawl if any of the files in those folders are modified.

To put more stuff on it without having to reset Brawl in real time.

I tried this a long time ago...
I picked Dry Bowser and Shadow Mario, pause the game, remove SD card.[insert normal brawl]
Removed both files of those characters....they where still there :/ So they stayed in the SD until i formatted it.

You do need to return to the main menu before removing the SD card.  That way, when you make file changes and reinsert the SD card, they'll be applied when you return to the character select screen.

Of course, if you modify the main menu, you need to return to the title screen in order for the menu changes to be applied.

All you have to do for characters is choose a different character and wait a few seconds for it to load the character, then go back to the character...  It erases the cache and uses the new files.
