Brawl plus and Character Select Screen editing

I have Brawl+ on my SD card, but I also have some custom characters.

I downloaded the Sephiroth pack with custom character portraits, names, and icons with all of all the other usual character stuff.

I opened brawl box and followed the instructions and replaced all of Marth's pictures and moves with Sephiroths, but when I play the game it still has Marth in the select screen and his name and picture are still there in battle.

Does this have anything to do with having Brawl+ installed, and if so how do I fix it? Thank you.

you need to edit csps and bsps

I did edit them. I even rechecked and they're still there on the file.

Did you edit your common5 in your system folder or the sc_selcharacter in the menu2 folder?

if you edited the common 5, you have to copy the data of the csp's en bsp's and paste it over the data in the sc_selcharacter

Oh, I only edit the sc_selcharacter because it "overpowers" the common5
