can anyone stop the freezing

Hmm, what size is your sc_selmap.pac? 1.14 MB is the limit -- anything over will freeze your SSS.

You mean it freezes when you try to go from the CSS to SSS?

That generally means that you have a PSA whose PAC or animation PAC or costume or something whose file is too big. What PSAs have you added or changed recently?

It could also mean you have a corrupted SSS. Have you made recent changes to your SSS?

ok everything is fine  then when got the characters ready i move three spaces or three seconds then it freezes
regular SSS no changes
latest psa and animation is just galaxy mario Psa and motionetc.pac by theshyguy
costume is a personal one but so far there is nothing wrong with the costume

Can't be the PSA because I also have Super Mario Galaxy 2 Mario and he doesn't freeze the SSS. All I can think of is it could possibly be a bad texture hack. I've had some times where my game froze after selecting a certain texture.
