FREEZE!! BEEEEEEP :(

When ever I start brawl I go to group then click on brawl and then...
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.  :notimp: I turn it off and try it again and... BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP  :>.>palm: What can I do to stop this. I have textures and a css. I've used the css before too. I just got the textures today here. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8FXG5SJJ  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXh3snIZnBM

Sooo can somone help me plz. I rlly want to ply already.  :-\ :-\  Oh and I have the codes cuz as I said I've used textures and css before. I'm using Gecko too if this helps?

If it freezes before the CSS comes up it means either your sc_selcharacter.pac is over 3.79 MB, or you have some textures on there that are bad. I've had mine freeze on me when I tried to edit CSP text, but that was only because it was BrawlBox ModSet 4.1's fault and I had to downgrade to an older one to get it to work. It could be anything, but if it freezes before you enter the CSS, it's something with your selcharacter.

Then it has to be what is inside it. What inside it is causing the problem, I don't know. That's all the info I can give based on my knowledge, though; sorry.

Have you added anything to this CSS? If so, what, and if it was CSP text, which BrawlBox are you using? Reason I ask is because just recently I had problems with my CSS freezing whenever I added CSP text to my file, but when I used an older version of BrawlBox, it worked.

Ok srry bout this but, like, what can be inside? Corrupt Files? if so do I need to delete everyhting? cuz I rlly dont want to. I put a weeks worth of getting textures and makin my own portraits  :'(

I havent tested it til today. I got a lot of textures. I got enough to fill up every character. and some stages. :>.>palm:

I don't think you can have too many anything. It's just the sc_selcharacter.pac can't exceed 3.79 MB. You can have one trillion things in your selcharacter and it won't freeze just as long as it stays under the limit.

Well what I would do is get a fresh sc_selcharacter.pac, and put everything back on it one by one. Make note of what you added as soon as you encounter your first freeze, remove it, and try again. If it still freezes, try removing something else. This is what I did whenever I had freezing problems.

No, your custom music can't freeze your game --  have about 50+ in my game and I don't have a single problem. The worst that could happen is it could sound staticy, in which case you'd have to defrag your SD card.

I got the game to work without any textures. I have the alloys and gigabowser and wario man. I only put ZS samus textures cuz in the pack shes naked sooo ya, replaced them. It still froze. And some levels freeze too... or does it take a while to load?

Do you need a code? If so which one so I can see if I have it
