I have never downloaded a new stage before, so I am not sure how it all works. I think I basically understand what needs to be done though. My only concern is that it will mess up the original stage. I read that using the .rel files can make the original stage unplayable when you no longer want the mod. Is this true? Thanks.

oh no no no, that only happens if you KEEP the .rel file.

Basically it's like this. I get a .rel so I can use a battlefield stage. After awhile, I decide to delete said stage because I'm just tired of using it.

If I don't rename or delete the .rel in the pf/module folder, then I can't play on battlefield until i do.

This should be in the help section.

Like Black Boo said, if you need a rel file for a specific stage, it goes in the Module folder.

Let's say you want Bowser's Castle from Mario over Luigi's Mansion. You will need a rel file and the pac file renamed STGMANSION. If you want to play on Luigi's Mansion again, you will not only need to delete the pac file or replace it with another, but you will also need to delete that rel file.
