Brawl Vault Problems, Updates, and Suggestions

Old topic was crowded so... here's a new one. As winter break is coming to an end, I probably won't be adding anything new once again...

Since launch, we have added...

• Advanced Search
  
  • Search with much more precision than the standard interface allows.
• [Audio Only] Condensed listings
  
  • Expands on hover!
• [Audio / THP Only]Embedded Youtube Previews
  
  • Similar to OCRemix setup
  • Youtube links will work for other hacks but they will open in another window.
• Collaboration
  
  • Similar to crediting but...
    
    • Collaborators can edit hacks
    • Collaborators get to share the download count with the uploader.
    • Collaborators are informed when edits are made.
    • Collaborators must have an account on here to be listed.
• Facebook Integration
  
  • Above the vault, a facebook toggle button allows turning on and off the like button. This is optional as the iframes used to create the buttons may cause lag on lower end systems / slower connections.
  • A facebook box on the stats page displays recent news and articles from our blog!
  • The toggle will not take effect until after a new page is loaded. Additionally, direct links to hack pages and the stats page will always feature the like option.

• Updated Report System

And as you all know... I am the sole programmer for Brawl Vault; unless someone else comes in with Javascript, PHP, and SQL under their belt... all feature requests must go through me. If you want a feature added and I'm not enthusiastic about it, you better make it worth my while.

i've been absent for awile so i don't know really,
why is the brawl for brawl vault scrapped and replace with a shadow icon?
or is that just for fun

Actually I did that to troll everyone here.

It was either that or a fake $5 incentive for each Shadow hack posted.

I don't think the Facebook toggle button works. The "like" button is there regardless of whether it's on or off.

3) Like button shows up by default on single hack pages.

As picano mentioned, we are at the limit where we've had enough of Shadow hacks, so picano changed the icon to troll with people :P

Also, first stupid report of the thread.

Although this report is correct about the broken images part, I find this incredibly rude...

I'm not asking it to be removed or anything. I'm getting new photos at the moment.

Picano, when I try to make my sig in BrawlVault, it doesn't show the image when I click "Browse". Then I pick my image. Then I click "Upload New Image(Replaces Old One)"
*Other stuff*
I then click "Generate Image" and it doesn't show my custom image as a background.
Also, the letters are sort of behind the each other; like a 3D "S", for example.

Upload works fine, just tried it out. Are you sure you aren't getting an upload error due to filesize or dimension?

the window that we have to view the hacks, below the menus, is rather small and only allows us to see 3ish hacks at a time.
would it be possible to make the window larger so we can fill our screen with the hacks? It might make sense to take out the scrolling all together and just have us scroll the whole page.

The box should auto-fit to your browser window. Tested on Chrome, FF, and IE.
