Thought to post it here, sorry if i'm going over something already discussed, but read it before passing it by. On OCRemix, they have a placed called Workshop which is like are showcase. They post they're work there for people to hear what they been working on, and when they feel it's done, they submit it to be judged to be placed on the wall, or in are case the blog. But we have a system called the Vault, which anyone can post what ever, when ever, only reported by those who go through the vault time to time to point out mistakes. 80% of the downloads come from here because people can just look through here to find a hack they might like, and not through the forums. This would also help prevent unwanted bumps in the showcase, because people can just favorite, and leave a comment from there, you have to make account to comment on the forums anyway. But it has to be tied to an account if not then it will be abused, and since multiple accounts are being watched it will prevent member abuse. If tied to a account those who joke around by saying "This Sucks" or post offensive comments can be prevent from commenting by the mods, and ban if necessary. |

As stated many times before, the problem is two-fold.
1) Even limiting it just to registered users (well... duh) and further limiting it to post count, a ton of people have bias. Someone posts a super-mega-ultra-omnipotent-trandimensional-transexual Shadow hack and it will be no starred, regardless of how good it actually is.
2) It's a resource hog. For every hack, it has to store a total rating as well as a list of all users who have rated it. Every time a hack is rated, it has to cross-check that list. (The rating system on our blog is one of our most storage and process intensive things) Comments are a bit easier, as it is a forum... but it would still take me a good deal of time and well... we've seen youtube comments and several members here make me despise the forum/vault report systems.
We are too popular for our own good. The site either needs some godly amount of optimization, of which I have no time to do, or we need a better server, which... we're hosted for free by Dantarion and are already a massive drain on him. (And, aside from one dire instance, has never asked for or accepted payment from us)

I was wondering can there like be a place in the brawl vault where final smashes go? Because I found a few final smashes in the character section but it took me forever to find them! So yeah i was just wondering if we could do this just to make it easier to find them. Is this possible?
