That move is an historic detail. I'm pretty sure it was a salutation symbol, and not something meaning "kill all jews!" in itself. So it still fits in the BV rules. Being insulting in reports doesn't, though. There are dozens of ways to express one's disapproval without the use of the word "stupid". >_> |

I didn't get a single word you just said.
Nazi and the culture they established for a time are a part of the history of Europe. And most of the historical figures of that era have been integrated in popular culture.
If every time someone evocates Hitler, or anything nazi, it means this someone is supporting the nazi beliefs, then you have a big problem with understanding the notion of freedom of speech.
The hack wasn't breaking any of the rules of this place. Calling the author stupid was, though.
So take your moralistic self-righteousness somewhere else if you can't even see where the offense truly was here.

He doesn't understand why people think that far about just a hack. He thinks the creator had all the right to upload it. (Which he had) This is just a rough idea of what i think he meant.. again, no idea if i'm right or not.. ._.' |

Hitler Mario, the character this animation hack was created by one of our staff. See where I'm going with this? Now... if this hack was a sound clip saying 'death to all ____', I could see where you're coming from. Those incidents? The entirety of WW2? I can't tell at the moment who deleted the hack, but either way, I'm sad about it. It's a blow to freedom of speech, freedom of expression, just because some people can't accept it. While yes, there are people who will be offended and might cry because Mario, a hero, has been turned into a Hitler clone. But there are others... others with sense... others that even have seen the atrocities with their own eyes eyes that understand that something like this is not hurting anyone. |

I never thought of that Hitler Mario as problem and we have other hacks in the vault, that people would like to get rid of, such as God over Zelda(i think its ugly) and Mohammad over Sheik, but i don't think their wrong for uploading that stuff, just people expressing their beliefs.
I know people report that Hitler Mario because of the reason that Hitler killed alot of people because their differant, but that doesn't matter now since that was in the past and that guy had the right to upload it since it was not hurting anyone.

That's nice. I can see them too. xD More seriously, these are the pictures of the texture files, not in-game pictures of the textured model. I guess I'll re-report it myself to make the problem a bit more easy to understand.  |
