Ugh -_- can't get hacked stages working at all

I honestly can't get hacked stages working all i want is hyrule castle from smash bros n64 working and everything i've tried hasn't worked. I am using riivolution my sd card is an sdhc so i can't use gecko os. I'm using the brawl launcher that supports brawl+,Brawl-, etc and also has two custom filepaths. So i downloaded a hyrule that apparently doesn't need a .rel file so i renamed the file's name to stfinal(stgfinal is what i think i acutally named it) and put it in stages\melee, but when i go to load up the final destination it doesn't even load the stage it loads the original final destination instead so am i missing a step or a file? Do i need to edit the file or add it to a common.pac file?

Name it STGFINAL.pac and it should work
