Ok that didnt work im still geting the same error. is there anyway i could send you my tga's so you can see if theres something im doing wrong??

Sure send me the tgas. (Upload them)
How would i do that srry for the noob question?

You shouldn't be resizing any of the texture parts.  Also, if you didn't get the message, Marth's normal eye iris requires an indexed palette.

I didnt resize any of his texture parts. yea i've tried to indexed his iris and every time i index the the palette in photoshop then run step two it says that the palette is not indexed.

    Its not a valid image because you named the thing wrong or its not a tga.

    As for the pallets, are you even saving it after you index.

    Yes i did try to follow you guide and others but nothings seems to work. and yes i am saving after i index the pallets. I dont know what i could be doing wrong

    Try using ASH v2.3 if you're using an older version.  It adds the normal textures automatically, but you'll still be prompted to answer if you want to add the indexed textures.

    That reminds me, you're only indexing the textures with a +1 or +2 in their file names, right?  Normal textures need to be in RGB format and include an Alpha Channel.

    ok thought maybe that was my problem because i didn't have my alpha channel turned on after i did that i still got the same error message saying that the image i provided  is not valid
