Ok, so I'm trying to add a CSS onto my Brawl- via Riivolution.

First, what's the file path that the common5_en.pac needs to go into, and is the name supposed to be common5_en for the english version?

Second, how do I edit the common5 file so that the CSS actually shows up onto the character select screen?

And if there's already a sc_selcharacter on there, do I remove it or just leave it?

And do I keep the _en there or do I have to remove it?

Either way, that filepath doesn't seem to change anything.

Right u are using riivolution on ntsc so get a common5 and put it in SD/private/app/rsbe/pf/system and replace the sc_selcaracter.pac inside with your one

    1. common5.pac goes in brawlmods\textures\system unless your XML is using the FPC structure.

    2. Just take the "_en" out of it.

    3. Get a picture you want, make sure it's .png, then open it in an editing program of your choice, make sure it's the same size as the thing you're replacing, save it as a .png or .tga, then open up your common5.pac, expand sc_selcharacter, expand either char_bust_tex_Lz77, MiscData[30] or MiscData[70] depending on what you're trying to edit.

Just export the sc_selcharacter from your common5 and put it in
    /private/wii/app/rsb(E for usa, P for pal)/pf/menu2

Are you using a custom CSS that requires codes? Like ASF1nk's? If so, make sure you have the custom CSS codes in your GCT.

Alright, how do I add that in Riivolution? SOrry, still new to brawl hacking.

Just use the Code Manager computer program, open your .txt file (make sure the code is in there first), then export it as a GCT.

    Which .txt file?

    Which .txt file?

The one associated with your GCT. If you don't have one then you're kinda screwed unless you can figure out how to extract the codes from the GCT and add them to a text document.
