Hello all. I have a question for you.

Many months ago I decided to try out Brawl hacking, so I whipped out Twilight Princess and installed the Homebrew Channel. I successfully got everything working perfectly, and I was very happy...

But then I stopped for a while and completely forgot how. I have since reeducated myself and I've got custom music running again. The issue is that while custom music works flawlessly, custom textures just won't load. My files are all correct, and I have no idea what the problem is.

My file tree is here:
X:/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/(insert character folders here)

I can't figure out what I've got wrong. It isn't the File Replacement codes or the GTC, because it can load music fine, right? All of the textures are in the correct 'Fit*character*00' format for each character.

I can't find anyone else with this problem, so I thought I'd finally make a forum thread about it and ask for help. Thanks in advance, and I really appreciate any help you give. Smiley

I'm trying for Ganon, Ike, Link, Lucas, Marth, Pit, Samus, and Zelda.

As for how many replacements, Ike has two, Marth has three, Pit has four, and Zelda has two, and the others have one.

Is there a limit? I remember have many more characters modified the first time I learned.

I know, I've done that part Sad

They just don't load in-game. The costumes are what they normally would be.

Wait... Unless you're saying they don't go in their own folders? Do I put the 'FitPit01' file, for instance, in the 'fighter' folder, or in a 'pit' folder placed inside 'fighter'?

In a 'pit' folder placed inside 'fighter'
Nothing should be wrong from what I know if you did this.

Hmm... Well that's alright. I'll keep playing with it. Is there some version of the file replacement code that will only do music? Maybe I've used something like that without realizing it.

Nope, file patch code v3.5.1 replaces both music and textures, even if you were to use an older version the file patch code supported textures first, then it eventually supported music.

EDIT: Could you send me your fighter file? (Through private message)
