Hey, I hope I'm not repeating anything already said in these Forums... But... I recently began to (try) create my own textures, and I have a few questions about editing Olimar... (I haven't seen much textures of him, so I decided to make a few)

It is possible to make his helmet and/or nose transparent? And it's also possible to edit Pikmin texture?

Thank you,
Val Halen

1)Olimar's Nose transparency, No. (Unless you use Partial Mod to make it VERY small)
2)Pikmin, I don't know, probably in the huge list of common .pac files.
3)Helmet, I don't think so, but I'm just guessing on this one

Awww... Too bad... I was trying to make a Samus version of Olimar, and for that I would have to "remove" his nose... =/

One of Olimar's indexed textures may actually be for his helmet.  However, editing that texture will end up removing the semi-transparency that the helmet already has.

Removing? You mean it'll look like when you get an Metal Box with Olimar?

No the texture for his helmet is the swirly one with the blackness in the middle. Make it completely black to make it transparent.

Ahhhh, I see... Thx! That helps a lot! I always wondered what was that texture...
Hmmm, but, what if I wanna, for example, paint a "face" on the helmet or something? It's possible? (I wanted to try make a "Classic Samus" texture on Olimar, by painting his helmet to make hers)
Plus, there's some thingies in his UV Map that I don't understand... =/

If possible, could someone explain which parts of Olimar correspond his UV Map? There are some that I have a slightly clue, but others... No idea... =/
Sorry if I'm asking too much...
