Basically, If I was to import a model with completely new bones, and made custom animations for it, could I overload the original characters motionect, because the animations run off of both new bones and the old ones?

first: yes, but remember to not overpass the filesize too much...
second: this should be in help section ^^
third: there is even a special help board in the psa related board...

you can overload it if you overload the wii's virtual memory (RAM)

if there's too much data stored in the RAM at the needed time... well...
    BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

    ^simply spoken

    filesize limits don't exist... EVER!
the only limit is the free RAM left over on your wii...
(that's why you can fight 1 char with an oversized file, and not another)

    EDIT:
TBH my idea of clearing out media you don't need may not work...
as the media isn't stored at the time of the needed load

you have been through a lot of hassle. I've watched every topic you posted on this, and most of them seemed to disintegrate gradually.
But the coolest part was that you didn't stop working on it despite that.

you may now see why I hate FW's bone adder... >_>

copying the entire mdl0 to double the file-size and add bones is not a good solution

    FW's bone adder == bad

    Snoopy will tell you otherwize,
but he hasn't studied the format at byte value...
let alone studied how computers work and tried to build his own...

yes, I have actually tried to build a computer out of old VCR's, DVD players, etc...
the thing blew up in my face when I pressed the power button XDD

why would you want to do that
I mean, how would you go about making the processor and stuff, unless by computer you mean something able to play a Game and Watch game :3

was trying to build a 16bit computer pretty much... heh
(just a bit better than the sega genesis)

I wanted to use a monitor output, but I couldn't get a good plug for it... heh

I could prbly get it fully built if tried again... heh

    and you asked why :|
well, I'm not one to brag about it anymore...

but I'm designing a game system/computer capable of handling Quanary, instead of Binary

    *starts bragging*
if you were to convert a binary file to a quanary file,
you'd take up half as much space, and quadruple the speed

    Quanary is my idea btw...
basically an extension of someone elses idea of a DNA number system

    that's actually why I dev'd quanary...
I havn't looked yet to see who wrote the article (I just found it)
but yea... I've been trying to figure out which DNA base would come first...
but that's a completely different topic Tongue

yes, I'm working on deciphering DNA in a completely different way...
    so I dev'd Quanary...
    now I'm thinking of a (quad (quad-core processor) )
game system/computer capable of handling Quanary

    currently no computer supports Quanary,
so this will have to be built from the ground up

but you can expect to see awsome games running on my game system Evil
    RealD gfx
    AII (Artificial Interective Intelligence)
    and more...

some people even call me the next Bill Gates XDD

I thought about the same thing sometimes.

But you mean the basic functioning has 4 states, instead of 2 states (on/off)?

You're talking about a very basic sort of quantum computer....
