Hey there. I've been hacking my game like crazy with all sorts of new stages and costumes. While I know which replacements are on which costumes and stages, I don't have them all memorized and I don't expect friends playing to do so either. So I'd love to get my CSPs working and eventually get some SSPs working as well. I've already tried my hand at getting these things to work... here is what's happened so far:
Attempt 1: I look up video tutorials online and the one I used was

. I followed the instructions perfectly for a couple of Sonic costumes and a couple of Marth costumes. When I tested them out in game, they didn't show up on the CSS. They did, however, show up on the results screen after a match but they were blurred, segmented... they didn't look like they were supposed to (to sum it up). I figured I would try again.
Attempt 2: through some googling, I found a discussion by Hakumen about CUPASH and he had a different version that apparently worked better (I didn't know if that's what I had to begin with or not). So I downloaded and tried again. Same results.
Attempt 3: On the
http://brawlhacks.wikia.com/wiki/The_Giant_Page_of_FAQ page (at the part where it talks about changing brawl portraits), it had some instructions on how to do it with Brawlbox (which I had already installed). So I tried this method and it failed again with no change from the previous results.
So, I'm at a
here on what to do. Could someone please explain what I am doing wrong or if there is something I'm not being told here? I don't even want to think about how difficult it's going to be when I start working on the SSPs after this. Any help would be appreciated.
