SSBB freezes before loading model texture hacked stages...

I am trying to put a .PAC file over Battlefield (named STGBATTLEFIELD.PAC, model texture) but the game freezes on the "READY TO FIGHT!" screen. I've tried multiple files, and the only one that works so far is the Rainy Battlefield, which is only a texture hack.

What am I doing wrong? >_> This happens with all ModelTexture stages.

Where do you have said file placed?  And is it made for Battlefield?

Also do you have the File Patch Code?  If you're using Gecko this is essential.

No... if the file was placed in the wrong directory or I didn't have the file replacement code on, it wouldn't be freezing, instead it would load the normal brawl stage, unless model textures are placed in a different directory than textures.

Yes.

I am using Gecko. I am also using the File Patch Code 3.5.1 (For music hacking.) and the File Replacement Code 2.1. (For texture hacking, and everything else...)

The File Patch Code 3.5.1 should cover everything.  You shouldn't need the other.

Okay, I figured they had different functions because of the different names, despite meaning the same thing.  :-\

I turned off the File Replacment Code 2.1 while leaving the File Patch Code 3.5.1 on, and it displays my hacked startup screen as usual, but it gives me a black frozen screen when the game is supposed play the SSBB intro.

I turned off the File Patch Code 3.5.1 and turned the File Replacement Code 2.1 on, and it still freezes at the stage select screen.
