Riivo has support for both custom SFX and THP (Brawl movie files), but that's about it. There's something also about Riivo being less strict with file size limits, but I don't know the exact details on that.

So unless you want to replace a character's voice or a cutscene, you should stick with Gecko.

Also, I think that Riivo is a bit more space-consuming, so if you DO make the switch, you'll probably end up needing a bigger SD Card (if you use one, that is).

brawl files that are in the SSBB folder I see what you did there ...
(i'm not making that face at you, i'm making it at gecko not using the files in the SSBB folder)

    thats why i HATE gecko,

seeing i use the SSBB folder,

don't get me wrong i know where the files go to use them through gecko,
but i just don't want a hassle Tongue

it takes longer to put the file in the right folder the gecko way Tongue
but just putting them all in the same folder (SSBB) takes 2 seconds Smiley

Yes, you can customize music on Gecko.

But Riivolution is the way to go if you want to access more customization.

Plus it also has online streaming so you can stream hacks from your computer if you wi-fi on your Wii.

Riivolutions allows access to customize SFX and THP files (videos).

If you have PAL or any other region, than Riivo is the only option for music other than ISO hacking.

You can run Gecko from the stage builder without a modded wii. Like I do.
You can't do this with riiv as far as I know.
