Need help with brawl...or perhaps its a gecko problem?

Alright so...basically my problem is that when i boot up brawl with all the little hack goodies i've found sometimes after a battle, it doesn't matter what battle (It could be the first battle i do or the seventeenth), on the results screen it freezes sometimes. I've tested this many times with different hacks...at some point i thought it was the psa's i was using. so i deleted everything and just put on simple texture hacks....but still it would freeze. So i'm lost there...maybe it's the codes? Like i have the wrong ones? or not enough?
