Vertex editing will probably be implemented sometime after the model rebuilder is done. Possibly LONG after, mind you.

But we already have viewing verticies, so...

Quotebut yeah, the new brawlbox should have vertex editing, sfx editing, and stuff
This would be Epic.

Brawl hacks really have gone advanced over the years.

Also, Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 have seen their hacking days; Mario Kart Wii with the tracks; NSMB Wii with the levels; SMG2 with the levels.

Although impressive, I am hoping that it'll become possible to hack Mario Sports Mix's contents as well.  The only problem is that its compression method hasn't been fully decrypted yet, nor has it been possible to recreate the compression as well.

At least it's not MGS3's encryption.
It's so crazy that NOTHING was ripped from it. The music is from the OST CDs.

Anyway, When I wrap up what needs to be done, I'll take another look at stage hitboxes. I remember discovering a flloat that controls the size of Onett's cars' hitbox.

I still remember the days where you had to whip out a hex editor, tcsmake (I think that's what it was called) and those other tools, just to inject some textures.

It's a lot easier and faster now.

You know what I really like on my stack smash?
Texture updates.

@Zephiel: “your” Stack Smash?

I have seen brawl become what it is now also. Its crazy. I remember how hard it was to find textures. And when Mastalko first gave shadow his quils, I remember how crazy everyone was going. And now Shadow is given way to many textures. I also remember seeing psa get gradually get better, which in my opinion I think SDoom may have started with Viewtiful Joe. But this year has been a great year and cant wait to see more :)

Ouch. Hearing that makes me glad that Mario Sports Mix's compression is possible to work with.  Hopefully someone will finally crack it, but there hasn't been any kind of discussions involving this matter.

On a side note, it's impossible to hack Mario Super Sluggers, since everything is stored in a single .dat file, except for the audio and video files.  And even if it was hackable, the game has no MDL0s, and the textures have a very bizarre setup.  At least the game has BRSTMs that you can use with Brawl.

I still remember the days of ASH and CUPASH and the like...

Also, upon seeing the thread title, I was reminded of this thread.
