People are turning around the meaning of the shadow pin. It was made so people avoided the infamous pinhog. But it seems to only bring more shadows now.

Maybe we should do like the SomethingAwful forums and their "Forums Cancer".
Like, every time you post a Shadow hack on BV, you get inflicted with a permanent Shaderp avatar, and every time you attempt to post on the boards, you have a random chance of getting redirected to one of the infamous "Sonic RPG" flash games.
And the only way to get a 1-time cure for the "Shadow Cancer" is to post at least 5 non-Sonic hacks and get at least 250 DLs total from them. Or donate $10 to the website.
Now THAT would be a good way to discourage people.
Or we could just nuke the award, or replace it by something silly. Maybe something beautifully MSPaintish?

You think it is over but a new one comes out. I mean, is not that shadow hacks are bad. Good shadow hacks are cool, but they spark so many clones it gets annoying.

 I have an idea. sort of like the rage award, a 2 year-old hack with less than 10 downloads? And the replacing the shadow the pinhog with shaderp as your avatar and having to make other hacks with a lot of downloads or to donate is a good idea. and why does lwvi have pin collector if there's only 4 other pins? Man I'm editing this too much... Where would you find how many reports you've made? |

I know for a fact that the vast majority of the public here cares more about free products than actual quality. I mean, we're kinda modding an old Wii game after like 6 years, instead of buying new stuff. That's pretty telling.  |
