BrawlBox Error

Whenever i try to replace image files in brawlbox, to be more specific, im replacing the "MenSelChrMark.XX"
with 4x4 black squares to clear up space in my sc_selmap.pac, i get an error message whenever i try to save the file saying:

Pointer startIndex and length do not refer to the valid string.
Parameter name: ptr


Anyone know whats wrong?

most likely the texture size. make it 8x8

the thing is, it does this with ALL images, not just the ones i mentioned

ive done 4x4 before and it worked fine, it just doesnt work now
