If I want custom SSP's in my sc_selmap.pac, do I need the SSP patch code or is it not necessary?

aslong as you have the file patch code should be alright  ;D

I have Phantom Wings File Patch Code, but not the SSP Code.  Is that alright?  My wii freezes...
