i have 1 character i would like to play as in subspace emissary, Waluigi, hes over toon link on all colors, but when i pick subspace it freezes when i choose toon link as my character, if i pick other characters before him, it will play that is until i kill my characters off down to toon link then it freezes the same, anyone know how to do this, i am using riivolution channel and an sd card to load the hacks?

Check the file sizes of the .pcs and .pac.
The .pac should be uncompressed (which means that they should be larger in file size than their .pcs counterparts).

if i remove this file could it possibly fix this problem
Ridley Edit: i think the FitToonLink.pac.bak is supposed to be FitToonLink.pcs, tell me if im wrong

The FitFighter.pac files have no .pcs counterparts, so I don't think so. Try deleting it and see what happens.

i just tried it the same thing happens it freezes, everytime it freezes it has a constant "beeeep" until i power it off if that means anything

the .bak was a backup file, probably automatically saved from HxD. And if the file was HxD edited, that may be a reason for a freeze, anyway.

As I mentioned before, check the file sizes.
For example:
The file size of FitToonLink00.pac should be larger than FitToonLink00.pcs.
