I've been tinkering with the common5_en.pac and info_en.pac files to display names for Shadow and Knuckles according to the files provided with the folders for True Knuckles and Shadow I've downloaded here at the brawl vault. I've replaced all the according files, I think, and DK's and Pikachu's names still show up on the results screen and in game. Any reason why they aren't showing up? Could someone point me to a tutorial on how to modify these names and what directories and files to put them in?

Don't ridicule me because I have nothing clever to say. Simply look the other direction in an ashamed manner for the both of us.

You have to edit main.dol data with an hex editor

Well... I have made that for you, but since Knuckles' name is larger than Pikachu there's a bug: Luigi name won't display on results screen: http://www.mediafire.com/?oqnbar8y5umbpdu
